Bio
The Kill Devil Hills is a West Australian 5-piece rock band formed in 2003.
The Hills’ gripping live acts and recorded work have variously been described as swamp, punk, country-rock, blues, folk; the diverse textures of the band’s sound ranges from mournful heart-heavy ballads to screeching, visceral jungle punk.
Having toured Australia extensively the band has also started venturing abroad and toured the US and Canada and will be in Europe in the 2010 summer.
The multi-award-winning group has spent the best part of 2009 completing their 3rd album, ‘Man, You Should Explode’ released nationally in September 2009 thru Torn and Frayed/Shock.
