Formed in the summer of 2002, Paul Spencer & The Maxines are an American punk rock band based in CT. Critics often compare the band’s sound to that of The Replacements, The Clash and the New York Dolls. They have released two albums (2005's "The Whole Shebang" plus 2007's "Cut The Jive") and an acoustic EP, "Either Sunset Or Sunrise", which came out in August of 2008. They are currently working on their third album, scheduled for release in early 2009
