Roger Klug歌手简介:
Roger Klug has been seducing audiences for years with his “lyrically smart-arsed and sharp songs” [MOJO Magazine] coupled with a fingerboard frenzy of gut-wrenching guitar. Smashing atoms of pop and rock into a mix hailed as “genre-defining” [Bruce Brodeen, Not Lame Records] and “genre-busting” [unidentified female at 20th Century Theatre], Klug records ferociously and incessantly in his Mental Giant studio and has released two power-pop gems, Mama, Mama, Ich bin in dem La La Land and Toxic and 15 Other Love Songs, as well as a collection of ‘60s oldie-but-moldie songs entitled Where Has The Music Gone?: The Lost Recordings of Clem Comstock. He currently performs live with drummer Mike Tittel and bassist Greg Tudor; the subtleties and orchestrations of the studio recordings are thrown out the window in favor of sheer power-trio bravado and raw energy, topped off with choirboy harmony vocals provided by the rhythm section. With a new album, More Help For Your Nerves, just released and receiving glowing reviews, you can bet Roger Klug will be seen on stages peeling paint off the walls with his Gibson guitar throughout 2009.
